Eligible items can be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund.

All other items are FINAL SALE and will be noted in the product description. These items are not eligible to return. Please read carefully before purchasing. It is up to the buyer to ensure that the product will fit inside entry points upon delivery of the item including clearance for doorways, hallways, tight corners, etc. We will not be held responsible if the piece does not fit into the buyer’s home or space.

Shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping fees are the buyer's responsibility. We suggest insuring and tracking your shipment as we will not be held accountable if anything should happen in transit. House of Nomad makes every effort to credit your account within 10 business days from receipt date of your return. All credits are refunded in the same form of payment as on the original transaction.

All items must be sent back in the original packaging. If original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for arranging equivalent packaging. For all lighting and wallpaper, once it has been installed it cannot be returned.

LEAD TIMES

We pride ourselves on curating a collection of items that will add a sense of travel to your home.

Please be aware that many items ship directly from the manufacturer, and are ordered specifically for you. Since this is an item House of Nomad does not keep in stock, this piece may not ship immediately. To receive a more specific shipping timeline or if you would like to confirm a specific lead time before you complete your purchase, please e-mail customerservice@houseofnomaddesign.com

Since these items were ordered specifically for you, we are unable to cancel or edit the order after 72 hours*. (*Some restrictions may apply). If your item has shipped, it can not be canceled. After your special order item reaches your local area, the delivery company will contact you via phone or email to schedule a delivery date and time that works for you. Some items require a signature for delivery. Oversized items may be delivered curbside, please inquire before your order is placed.

For in stock orders, we start processing in the order we receive each order. We are working diligently on packing your order and getting it on its way to you! Due to carrier shipping constraints, we’re facing extended shipping timelines on many instock items of up to 14-18 business days* In some cases, there will be a delay from when your shipping label is created, and when the carrier actually picks up the item from our warehouse. *Promotions, Holidays, and Weather could additionally affect shipping times. After your order is processed, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and confirming that your package has been sent.

Please be aware, Items ordered together may not arrive in the same box.

If you miss a delivery, or an item is sent back to us because of an incorrect address, there is a fee associated with redelivery. Costs will vary.

INSPECTIONS & DAMAGES

All items are carefully inspected prior to shipment, but damages do happen. Please thoroughly inspect all items and if a damage has occurred, please provide detailed images to customerservice@houseofnomaddesign.com within 48 hours of delivery. After 48 hours, claims will not be able to be processed. Any damages must be clearly noted on the carrier’s bill of lading and photographed before the driver leaves delivery location. If damages are not noted or no photos taken, House of Nomad will assume damage occurred while in possession of the carrier or customer and no claim will be honored.

Once notified, claims will be reviewed on an individual basis, if HON deems a replacement necessary, we will process that diligently. Please know that damage claims can take some time to resolve, we appreciate your patience.

Many of House of Nomad products are handcrafted by artisans across the globe. Small irregularities in shape, surface, and finish are hallmarks of such craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

Rugs: Variation and imperfection in weave, fiber size, color, and overall rug size (up to 2-3" in length and width) are normal characteristics and are not considered a defect. Wood items may include knots, gouges or nail holes. Metal items may have welding marks and variations in tone and luster. Stone color, pattern, texture or veining may differ. Fabrics are hand woven and therefore tie-off knots are intrinsic to the design.

Coloring: Because every computer monitor displays color differently, we cannot be responsible for variations between the actual product color and how it is displayed on your screen. Descriptions of merchandise, including colors or shades, textures, and other features are as accurate as we can provide. Varieties are not considered defective.

Items will vary in color from the photographs in our catalog, collateral and on the web. Specifications of individual items are subject to change and will differ slightly from those shown or stated.

House of Nomad is not responsible for packages marked as “delivered”. The customer resumes the responsibility of filing a claim with the carrier. HON will always comply with the carrier/investigation to work towards a solution. If the carrier can not “find” the item once the investigation has concluded, House of Nomad will offer a replacement if there is one. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be processed.

HON x DAS WOLFE FURNITURE COLLECTION

All HON x Das Wolfe furniture will be shipped via a third party delivery company and will ship within 10-12 weeks of your purchase date. Once you purchase a piece from this collection, you will receive a confirmation email and our delivery company will reach out to schedule all delivery services. Shipping costs will vary based upon the weight and customization of the piece, the quantity purchased and the location in which the piece(s) is being delivered. Shipping costs reflect white glove delivery service, which includes in-home placing of the piece in the room of your choice, assembly of the piece and disposal of all packaging. It is your responsibility to inspect your items upon delivery for any damages. Neither House of Nomad nor Das Wolfe will be held responsible for any damages after the item has left the shop/warehouse.

It is your responsibility to make sure the piece fits in your space and through any entry points necessary for delivery and assembly. Neither House of Nomad nor Das Wolfe will be held responsible if the piece does not fit in your space.

LOCAL PICK UP

Currently, our Charlotte shop is in the process of a new location and we are operating out of our warehouse. If you live in Charlotte, NC and would like to pick up your item, instead of having it shipped, please email customerservice@houseofnomaddesign.com to coordinate a date/time with our Warehouse Manager. Please note: You will be responsible for bringing your own transport vehicle, loading the piece into your vehicle, and packaging it accordingly. Neither House of Nomad nor Das Wolfe are responsible for any damages made to the piece during local pickup and no returns will be allowed once you have moved the piece(s).
